LEADERS' CALL TO ADVENTURE

EPisode 20: Karen Clothier
Love, Loss and the Black Madonna

Picture
Talking with wise woman and womb priestess Karen Clothier of WildQueens.com about her road of success through the "go go go" world of a  hi-tech entrepreneur in Silicon Valley to a newsworthy online retailer to a healer and teacher living a simple life  in  the south of France.

We explore the essence of feminine power and what it means to be called  into the body through grief while being guided by the Black Madonna.   An especially timely conversation for women in the wake of the #metoo movement. Also, for men who want to understand what's going on with women and what the next phase of our humanity is calling forth.

EPISODE HIGHLIGHTS
  • Feeling like a failure while living an outwardly successful life
  •  What Mary Magdalene and the Black Madonna can teach us about being in our bodies
  • Finding our value independent of what others think of us
  • When you feel emotion as a life energy rather than a story, it passes through you
  • Fear is so much worse then the reality

Most of us are not aware of the extent  to which we are out of our bodies. We live in a culture that’s very heady. We are very cerebral about everything.   We live more in the possibility rather than the reality.
